During the pandemic, BWAH hosted 100 virtual theater classes a month to students across 46 countries. Teachers included theatrical artists from Broadway, the West End, and even Australia. The BWAH Community is still active today, and BW hosts virtual pop-up offerings throughout the year.

Sammi Cannold, the director of How To Dance In Ohio led a deep dive workshop, focusing on material from the show.
How To Dance In Ohio is a new, original musical that opened in the 2023/2024 Broadway season. It is based on the Peabody Award-winning HBO documentary by the same title, and the story takes place at a group counseling center for a group of autistic young adults, preparing for their spring formal dance.
Sammi is a Forbes Magazine's 30 Under 30 in Hollywood & Entertainment, and she is making her directorial Broadway debut with this production. Sammi holds a B. A. from Stanford University and an M.A. from Harvard University.

Julie Benko, the star of Harmony led a scene study workshop, focusing on material from the show.
Harmony is a new musical that opened in the 2023/2024 Broadway season. It features original music from Barry Manilow, and highlights the true story of the Comedian Harmonists, an ensemble of six young men in 1920s Germany who took the world by storm with their blend of sophisticated close harmonies and uproarious stage antics.
Julie was named 2022 Breakout Star for Theater in the New York Times and was honored as one of 40 Under 40 for Crain's New York Business. She skyrocketed to fame, joining the annals of theatrical lore, for her sensational understudy-to-star trajectory in Funny Girl on Broadway. Between her tenure as the standby, alternate, and full-time Fanny, she played the role over 180 times (1 in every 3 performances!)

Sarah Crane is one of BWAH’s most beloved teachers and she led a theater dance workshop, incorporating holiday fun that kept everyone’s spirits bright.
Dance workshops always aim to be accessible to a wide demographic, keeping technical requirements low and having the focus mainly on raising heart rates and endorphins.
Sarah’s recent credits include the First National Tour of Mean Girls, and her choreography has been seen Off-Broadway, regionally, and in music videos.

Jeanna de Waal is a Broadway actress and founder of BW, and she hosted a cabaret featuring performances from participants of the BW community.
Jeanna played the title role in Diana, the Musical, on Broadway and Netflix, earning notoriety and a drama desk nomination for the performance.
